Hi,
I have a Bungalow in the backyard, typical hardwood frame, on 3 bearers, sitting on timber stumps, that we need to push back, bringing it to the rear fence - approx 2.5m.
I basically plan to install about 4 new timber stumps behind it, but the challenge is lifting, and shifting the whole thing back 2.5m.
You cannot get a crane due to tight access. I don’t want to dismantle it (apart from disconnecting bearers from stumps).
Options I have considered:
- Pallet jacks
- Pure man power lifting and shifting
- Bottle jacks raising on some sort of greased timber runners and then try slide it
Ideas welcomed!!! Thanks
