Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 27, 2022 8:57 pm Hello All, I have a 1.9m opening for the front entrance door and would like to know what would be the best and ideal door width if I need to have sidelights at both ends? As per the image, I currently have 1.2m wide front door with 300mm sidelight on each side and 50mm separator on each side between the door and the sidelight. Thank you. Re: Ideal Entrance Door width for 1.9m wide opening 4Feb 02, 2022 5:45 pm We had an area large enough for 1200, but decided to go with 1020 in the end. We wanted a solid door, and so left room for the side lights, and also didn't want a pivot and were concerned 1200 would be too heavy for the kids. If you're happy with 1200, I'd stick with bigger. (When I say "we" decided to go with 1020, it was a compromise ) The warning is on the sticker on the door too. Second the aluminium powdercoat 6 18198 Thanks again for this information.
