Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 01, 2022 3:27 pm Hi All, Can someone please decipher the attached diagram for the lot 40219? We were driving in this estate and noticed many newly built houses were built lower than street level, their driveways are sloping downwards towards their garages and they have drains inatalled next to garage doors to keep water away. We want to avoid that at any cost and don't want to buy a lot with this problem, rather we want to buy a lot where our driveway slopes upwards to the garage. We spoke to a few builders and they told us that no one can tell (whether the house will sit lower or higher than street level on a given lot) before actual build process starts. Now we have to book a land block and we want to make sure that our new house sits above street level. Does anybody know if there are any pointers/hints in the documents (functional layout plan) for land blocks? Many thanks in advance. I am also wondering what these numbers (BLxx, Chxx, TOPxx etc ) written in the corners mean? Some lots also have a letter H written on top of lot number, what does that mean? Yesterday I visited the estate and noticed that whenever a street is sloping to one side, the houses on higher side are sitting quite higher than footpath level and the houses on lower side of street are sitting quite lower than footpath level. And this lot 40219 seems to be located on lower side of a sloping street isn't it? Does that mean its likely to be sitting lower than footpath level?
