Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 09, 2022 10:50 pm Hi all my partner and I are building a new home in SA. We have never built before and are in the process of getting quotes to add to our loan. We are building with Fairmont who only floor wet areas so we have the task of finding our own flooring company. We recently visited national tiles and got a quote for approx. $9,000 to supply our hybrid floor boards and alfresco tiles. We have received our first quote back to lay the flooring which came to approx $19,000. I don’t have the exact measurements but it’s approx 215m2 to be done but that is leaving us with left over product incase of future emergency. I know nothing about flooring costs but to me that seems soooo expensive. Can anyone let me know if this is a reasonable price or not?! Thank you I am not sure whether Perth has its own way of doing things in regards to this. Most of Perth has class A (sandy soil), except for some areas near rivers or hills. 2 13091 Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering. Builder is quoting 2500$ laying cost for upto 10msq. The 2 pillars come to be 16msq. So laying costs are 5000$… 0 7542 10 15744 |
