It was a wall hung unit that had a round cover with a rubber gasket for outdoor use. I opened it and immediately there was a thick grease/oil collected at the bottom of the fitting. The bottom light still works fine and it is a PLC type two pin fitting. The top looks melted but it doesn't look like it ever had any wiring going to it and there is a strange dangling lamp holder.
