I can't call them to ask as they are closed for another week. And am concerned that by then the evidence will have dried up. I could ask insurance but 500 excess plus loss of no claim bonus. Have had solar panels installed a year ago too so not impossible that it's their installers fault as well. Any recommendations? "Would it be reasonable to issue a direction to the builder" No as your contractors have been on the roof and most likely have caused the damage, otherwise your roof would have shown damage in the previous 6 odd years.
