Issue with the block is there's a stormwater pipe running diagonally through the lot. according to DBYD it's around 1m in diameter. For the size we wanna build we can't avoid it. Some builders I've approached said all you need is a bridge/pier and a permit from council. Others have gone you'll have to relocate the pipe as council will unlikely approve the permit. Has anyone done anything similar ? I've tried to ring council but they've just said wait for a townplanner to call back.
