Issue with the block is there's a stormwater pipe running diagonally through the lot. according to DBYD it's around 1m in diameter. For the size we wanna build we can't avoid it. Some builders I've approached said all you need is a bridge/pier and a permit from council. Others have gone you'll have to relocate the pipe as council will unlikely approve the permit. Has anyone done anything similar ? I've tried to ring council but they've just said wait for a townplanner to call back. Cheers Plumbers 'can be' plumbers, made all the worse by self certification which the building surveyor invariably accepts as proof of compliance! The good thing is that you know know. 3 3239 I think you are getting different numbers because they all just based them on "other jobs" even though each job is unique. Often, with builders, unless you're speaking to… 3 2133 Grab a hose, insert it at the top of the inlet/down pipe and turn the water on and see where the water is escaping from. Then you'll know. 3 6341 |
