The main thing will be the ceilings...I received a quote for $30k (including GST) to batten out existing ceiling in 5 rooms and a hallway. Includes cornices and ceiling roses. I'm an accountant by trade so have no idea if this is reasonable, happy to pay for a job but wasn't quite expecting it to be this much, am I being too naive? Rooms are all around 4.2 x 4.2. I'm not quite sure re the picture but essentially covering the existing ceiling with gyprock - 'batten out existing ceiling with furring channel, plasterboard flush and sand ready for painting' Also includes supply of installation of cornices and roses.
