I have used 90mm cavity slide units, and packed out accordingly on one side so the plaster finishes flush with the wall frame either side, however I'm not sure the best way to neatly fit & finish the architrave, seeing as there is a ~5mm setback from the plaster sheet to the cavity slide frame on one side. Is it a case of further packing around the frame of the door opening to bring it flush with the plaster sheet? What would be the best type of packing to use in this scenario - i.e. mdf ripped down to a 5mm depth? Then filler and paint should conceal it etc? Any better advice or tips? Thanks!
