Hi, do we require legal help to end the contract with the builder if builder has lost the licence and under liquidation?

Yes I think you do need legal help just to make sure you tie up all the loose ends with the liquidator to make sure there are no claims against you from any suppliers or trades etc and also the builder probably owes you money.
