We are currently renovating and extending a recently purchased post war home and were asking for roofing options. We were looking at monument in Colourbond at a price point of $32,000 including the roof plumbing. We feel that maybe Monier Cambridge Soho would be a good look with cream weatherboards, its a cheaper option at $13,000 plus the roof plumbing. Any thoughts on what you would prefer? Any feedback or options. Metal roofing and tiled roofs have different engineering requirements due to weight and also lift off capabilities. Is the renovation already underway or is it still in the planning process. Plus you can get better insulation with a metal roof due to the use of anticon blanket. It also comes down to what suits the style of house. I think your renders of the house with metal roof looks good. I will be using Boxspan Beams and have no concerns regarding… 0 151 I would say both styles you have pictured are steel. The lower chord of the first pic would be a massive lump if made using timber considering the size of the rafters. If… 1 6137 |
