We are looking at a single level extension of our house at the rear. A couple of considerations - our house is on a corner plot with the back of the house facing south - which is not ideal. After lots of research which point to having living and kitchen areas to the North, in our case it's not preferable due to costs and privacy issues. We currently have flexiblity with the layout of moving Bed 3, laundry, kitchen, living and dining areas in the rear part of the house with our renovation project.
