We are building a double story Hamptons home with Thomas Archer, and I am struggling with selecting the colors for our gutters, fascia, downpipes & garage door. Here are our selections so far:
Weatherboard color: Dulux Accord
Roof: Colorbond Basalt
Garage door: Vivid White (but leaning towards Surfmist)
Trim & posts: Haymes Greyology
Downpipes: Basalt or Surfmist?
I’m worried there are too many different shades of white in our exterior, and also that Surfmist will contrast (rather than complement) Greyology. Any advice is much appreciated!

If you are looking to simplify, I am a big fan of:
keeping the roof, fascia and gutters all the same colour
matching the downpipes to whatever the wall colour is so they blend in (depends on position)
Keep it in mind that Surfmist will look different in paint than it will on your frames, garage door or downpipes.
On our house the Greyology turned out a brighter tone of white but I was happier with the tone of Surfmist paint.
