hi all.
i am in the process of building a double storey in parramatta council. it is a KDR. contour survey is done.
the site a slightly sloping . fall is about 0.5m where the house is be located.
existing pool to be remained. the pool is located at the rear edge of the site.
so i was advised by the builder that, Parramatta council no longer allow fill the site to achieve a level site.
we had neighbors that complete builds in the last 4-5yrs, in the same street, who had achieved a level site (for the house slab ).
without that, there will be steps and drop between the house slab and garage. also steps and drop edge beams to the front of the house. this is not our preference.
wonder if there is anything we can do or check ?
also been advised that, pool needs to be removed due to location of house. which i do not understand when house is over atleast 2 meters away from the pool.
any advice would be appreciated.
