I’ve been trying for months to get a roofing plumber to install vents for my outdoor range hood and pizza oven. I decided to give it a go today. I didn’t have any dramas except I’m not sure if what I’m seeing will be a problem in future. I used plenty of silicone so excuse the mess. The water is pooling over the flashing and screws. My concern is that over time the water will breakdown the sealant. Should I be worried or does this look ok? It’s been raining all day and no leaks yet.
