Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 04, 2021 9:34 pm I work at Mitre 10 and we sell Principal kitchens which have 33mm or 40mm benchtops. But i'm after one thinner, 25-26mm would be better. I see Bunnings and IKEA have some but they all seem to be slabs that aren't the sizing that I need. Do any of these places do custom sizes with the Mitre etc? I'd rather get one from a "big box" store than a kitchen place as they are all too busy at the moment and I wand this DIY project done quickly. You'll need a custom size with a masons mitre join Try googling benchtop manufacturers or postformers in your area. They are the guys most cabinet makers use to order their benches through. Bunnings and IKEA just use the same companies. There are plenty that deal with the public. Some even have an online quote/order system.
