Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 14, 2023 12:45 pm I have a storm water drain located in an undesirable location, as per the photo: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The highlighted RED area will be a garden bed. The highlighted GREEN area will be a basketball court. The RED lines will be 200x50mm sleepers, finishing level with the concrete. The YELLOW line is where a proposed deck will finish. The dotted GREEN line is a 100mm stormwater pipe. Because the stormwater drain happens to sit right at the intersection of the sleepers (effectivelyvley, on the garden bed side), I don't think I can have everything fit as needed. Due to the design of the basketball court, I have no room to move those sleepers back away from the stormwater, so my only option is to move the drain over by about 1m, which of course, will end up under the proposed deck. Would there be any dramas with having that stormwater under the deck? The drain will still sit at the lowest point as needed. Re: Relocating storm water 3Mar 15, 2023 7:29 pm Pulse you can put it where you want just make sure you have fall to it, might be better to put a strip drain along entire edge of basketball court? It'll be moved about 1m along the pipe which has been installed at the lowest point anyway. Which side of the sleeper would I put the strip drain? Garden bed side or court side?
