Landscaping or decking

Hi to all,

We have just moved in and needed to ask some experts here. Is it better to do decking at backyard first or landscaping. Please let me know your thoughts. Cheers

thanks for the answers.
But correct me if i am wrong, the land below the decking needs to be levelled FIRST before putting decking to be able to drain properly (e.g. drain away from slab of house)

I am in the same boat - my garden needs to be levelled to allow for drainage and I am confused by the advice I am getting re doing deck first. Can the landscapers work it out anyway?
