Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 08, 2021 7:53 am Hi All, I recieved an PCV from builder saying they few item from my tender did not go through to my contract. If I like to continue with those items sign the pcv other wise they will proceed without those items. I checked the items and it was all part of contract drawings and they just forgot to charge it and I really want those items in my house. If I sign it will be out of pocket 11k What should I do ? Please share your knowledge. Re: Pcv for items included in contract 2May 08, 2021 10:42 am Hey Harp Welcome to the forum Unfortunately, you'll will need to cop it sweet as any errors/discrepancies within the CDs favour the Builder even when they make mistakes, use vague descriptions, demand extra on the engineering, etc, etc Next time you might consider doing/owning your drawings/engineering, specification and getting 3 builders to quote. The one thing that the Governments Home O̶w̶n̶e̶r̶s̶ Builders Grant should teach you. Is that it was going to force up the costs for labour and materials to a point where if the prices don't go through the roof then the Building Industry will collapse... That wouldn't look good in an election year for the government Sorry the hundreds of thousands of participants always bare the brunt. Don't worry man solictor sort out the stuff.
