Does anyone know where electricians place the electrical wire in the walls in a house that's being built?
In the future, I want to change the WIL to a WIP and there will be a light switch on the side. If the electrical wire will be high, we can get someone to cut a door frame and block the wall. I don't want to cut the electrical wire when the door is being cut into the wall. It is a double storey house so I am not sure how complex this operation would be once the house is built.
Any knowledge would be appreciated. Thank you.

Typically all power and light cabling runs straight up the wall from the switches.
In a single storey it will go into the roof space in a double storey it runs through the floor space of the first floor.

Thanks so much Chippy. It's good to know we don't have to speak to the electrician about keeping it off the ground level floor. I think you've pretty much answered my question. I appreciate the effort and I hope you have a great weekend!
