(My insurance company investigated cause of leak, as they said we won’t fix the paint/floorboards etc unless you have the cause fixed. For me this was helpful as I was able to make sure buider didn’t just patch.) If your buider won’t fix you may be best to pay to get it fixed as per SejaeEd’s advice. I agree with Althom but there also may be a problem with the terra cotta stormwater pipe discharging water in that areas as well.
