Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 09, 2021 4:03 am Hi I bought new townhouse 3 years back.since after settlement we have water leakage problem in kitchen. That flashing needs to be completely replaced and recessed into the render. If I were you I would look for some roofers in your local area and get 3 quotes. Statistically, a few cartons of mastic goes into every home. I suppose without a building regulating authority it's " DO YOUR BEST, MASTIC THE REST .." (My insurance company investigated cause of leak, as they said we won’t fix the paint/floorboards etc unless you have the cause fixed. For me this was helpful as I was able to make sure buider didn’t just patch.) If your buider won’t fix you may be best to pay to get it fixed as per SejaeEd’s advice.
