I'm after some landscaping ideas, we have a water grate in the back left corner of our back yard and I need ideas on how to landscape around it and make it look good. There's a significant drop to the grate from the yard and we've built a wooden retaining wall around it. I've only found one solution so far and that's to build a removable deck over it to use (not sure how I feel about it). Another option would be to fill it with large rocks and place plants in pots on top. I want your opinion, photos would be awesome!
