We haven’t changed anything since we’ve owned the house. Plus 100 years old. Has this just started? Have either of you done any earthworks near or on the boundary? How long have your neighbours been living in the house? Re: Water seeping through neighbours wall 10Mar 28, 2021 6:56 am The council rules in our area state that all hard surface areas ie roofs, paths, driveways etc must direct any water that falls on it to the councils kerb and gutter. Seepage from water that falls on your garden and lawn is not included and is just allowed to follow the lie of the land. As long as your place has all the falls for your driveway etc towards the kerb and all your downpipes are connected to pipes that drain to the front then you should be sweet. Stormwater pipe failed? Waterproofing on the neighbours property failed? If the seepage is a long term issue then I agree nothing to be concerned about from the OP's point but if it's not a long term issue then the OP and the neighbour need to work out what the issue is.
