Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 06, 2021 9:02 am Hello everyone, I need to choose a scheme for my new build in the country. As summers are hot, it's shale grey for the roof- surfmist will very quickly show the dirt. The house is a simple rectangle with a front entry portico to the south, a verandah & alfresco along the north side facing the views and a carport on the west side. There will be weatherboards around the windows for some contrast, and pearl white windows. Please critique these 2 schemes and help me decide between them. 1. Shale grey roof & gutters. Fascia = surfmist. Eaves= surfmist. Colorbond sheeting & downpipes= Dune? Weatherboards- dulux mangaweka? Verandah posts and balustrades= surfmist. 2. Shale grey roof & gutters. Fascia= woodland grey? Eaves= surfmist. Colorbond sheeting & downpipes= Surfmist. Weatherboards= dulux spanish olive? Verandah posts & balustrades = Woodland grey? The only addition to either of these schemes is a deep coloured front door. Timber would suit but I'm going for low maintenance. Thank you in advance for any feedback!
