Minor Changes to Driveway size before Occupation Certificate

Hi All,

Before posting, i did try to get some information around this but to no avail. Looking for suggestions.

We are getting handover in the next 2 weeks >> Driveway and landscaping to commence soon after. Our concreter suggested if we are able to extend the driveway (marked in RED) in the pic VS the original driveway which is narrower towards the road.

- How do we go about this change? Is it ok to just extend and will pass the OC?
- Do we submit a revised minor amendment plan? Who can assist in doing this to comply? Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅

- Original plans were sumitted through CDC.
- Land is in the Camden Council NSW area.

You are placing the crossover on council property and they will check for compliance upon completion
If it's non compliant you will be forced to rip it up...resubmit plans goodluck

Thanks structuralBIMGuy Appreciate the input.

Incidently my concreter just called up a min ago and mentioned the same thing.

Mentioned he will draw up the formwork (double garage allows upto 5 to 5.5 mts perhaps) and this should be within the range.

Before pouring of concerete, the inspector would either decline but most likely should not be a problem.

Builders always submit plans to comply to the minimum requirement i've heard. Fingers crossed, however will ring up council etc prior to any work.
