Hi, I am a foreigner and I unfamiliar with how the building and laws work in Australia
I build my first house with Dale Alcock hoping everything will go smoothly because I wont be there to see the building progress as I wont be in Australia.
Now the house is finished building and I ask somebody local to check the house. Then she found out that the aircon capacity is not enough. I complained to Dale Alcock regarding this and their answer surprise me. They say that They only supply half of the capacity of the whole house! I check the contract and the contract said that they will supply air con to suit the size of the house.

So what does this mean? From my side, I thought that they should supply aircon to suit all living rooms plus 3 bedrooms and they only supply aircon that only barely enough for the living room. Dale Alcock said that it is my fault not to ask more detail about the aircon and Dale Alcock said that they supply this capacity aircon to ALL their customer that use the Delano house design.
I threatened to go to court and they say go ahead and they threatened me back saying they will close all communication with me. I am scared because The house still have small defects here and there, and they are very slow to fix the defects as well.
Need opinion regarding this. What shoudl I do. Thank you
