We have a slab heave issue currently under investigation (the house is only a few years old).
Our home insurance have cancelled our insurance policy as we are now considered too high a risk for them.
We asked our home insurance if they could just insure our home for theft, fire etc. (ie. matters unrelated to the heave) but they refused.
Does anyone have any idea what we can do now? Do you know of an insurance company that would insure us for just theft, fire etc?
We have contacted several insurance companies and no one wants to insure us.

I supposed that is building insurance.
How about just content insurance?
It's home and contents insurance.
Our (now previous) home insurance refused to give us just contents insurance.
Besides, we need insurance for storm/fire/theft etc.
