Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 04, 2020 10:32 am Hey All, We built in Adelaide around 6 years ago and at the time was the first time building, At the time we were unaware that grout needed to be sealed and due to that it became very stained very quickly. We have attempted to have several companies over the years to clean it to not avail. Our options seem to be: 1. Recolour the Grout. 2. Remove the tiles and polish the plan concrete. 3. Replace all the tiles. 4 Epoxy over the tiles. We are not sure which way to go and have lost faith in flooring companies to offer the best solutions (They offer there best solutions) but that may not be THE best solution. We are hoping that someone here has been through a similar thing and can provide some advice on what they did and how good they feel the results where. Many thanks Lab Adelaide Re: Flooring - Grout Issues 4Dec 09, 2020 7:29 am Black Lab Thanks mate Was it hard to do? What type of grout did you replace it with? It was pain full but worth the trouble. The multi tool + grout bit made the job easier. I replaced it with high quality Ardex and sealed it. It still looks the same after a few months. Also I didn't skimp, used more than I needed, really packed it in there. Re: Flooring - Grout Issues 6Dec 09, 2020 7:38 am Black Lab Awesome, Thank you for the tip!
