We really don’t want tiles. If our budget allows it we would prefer the hybrid but if it’s a choice between tiles or waterproof laminate, what would you choose? If you have waterproof laminate flooring, would you recommend it? I end up going for Woodpecker Flooring - V-Tech Hybrid in "Sudbury" which is such a new colour there are no examples anywhere of it laid. Have you had a look at what brands you are interested in? In WA the cost of these from Trevor's carpets was approx $65/sqm and that was for Godfrey Hirst ranges and Woodpecker. I felt the Woodpecker flooring looked more natural, had a more substantial underlay(?) and had the colour I wanted. We are doing heaps of hybrid at the moment and the cost sits between $60-65/sqm including installation.
