Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 21, 2020 7:50 pm Hi, We are still waiting for the quotes from our builder but we are looking at getting either Hybrid flooring or Quickstep waterproof laminate flooring. We really don’t want tiles. If our budget allows it we would prefer the hybrid but if it’s a choice between tiles or waterproof laminate, what would you choose? If you have waterproof laminate flooring, would you recommend it? Thank you 😊 Re: Flooring Question - Hybrid or waterproof laminate? 2Nov 22, 2020 1:15 am Interested in views on this too, although I have already picked hybrid (didn't want tiles either) and haven't heard many peoples reviews on it. I end up going for Woodpecker Flooring - V-Tech Hybrid in "Sudbury" which is such a new colour there are no examples anywhere of it laid. Have you had a look at what brands you are interested in? In WA the cost of these from Trevor's carpets was approx $65/sqm and that was for Godfrey Hirst ranges and Woodpecker. I felt the Woodpecker flooring looked more natural, had a more substantial underlay(?) and had the colour I wanted.
