Land i have opt for is approximately 150 meters away from high tension power lines. One of bank i am dealing with came back saying its within 50 meter of high tension power lines and valued land at 20k lower than purchase price. Not sure Bank did desktop valuation or send valuer to do assessment there. They reached out to me to let me know and i told them exact distance. Bank said they will do valuation again. So question i have is how likely they will revalue land to either original purchase value or higher than purchase value, considering lot has good dimension across all 4 sides. The reason i purchased lot because well above require distance from high tension power lines and going to live there for long term,so some thing like revaluation doesn't matter to me at least for few years.
