I have noticed in most of the bathrooms, the bath s only caulked from the top. Sides and the floor is not caulked. I like he look of it without caulking. What do you guys think of this? A number of serious maintenance and extra humidity issues to prevent. Think of how you will be removing all this water from the corners and close-to-wall sides. What do you guys think of this? with free standing baths we dont normally caulk them at all. If your bathtub is moveable and you are confident you'll be able to clean all around it, then speak to your builder about removing the caulking. Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included.
