Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 28, 2020 6:42 am Hi, Is the crack in mortar a concern? As shown on photo.this is almost 30yo home. Is it necessary to patch, if so, what products are available. I have seen mortarfill and mortar works available and uncertain of which to use. Any other suggestions welcome too. Thanks heaps. I don't knwo about the materials to fix brick crack (probably mortar fill - if you can find the same colour used). our builder fixed the problem for us (warranty period). We had a plumbing leak under ground. It looks to me like one brick wall butts into the other meaning they are not interlocking like you would see on your external corners. You would always get some slight movement and cracking in that instance. Yeah, reckon it is some slight movement ...expected of a build from mid 90s. All fixed now with help of mortar mix. I'll look into different shower heads and ask the plumber about some engineering and see what he says.
