Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Simonds in QLD 2Sep 22, 2020 10:35 pm Most volume project builders are pretty much the same as they all offer similar inclusions, promotional offers it mostly comes down to the design that you like the most and confidence in the builders sales consultant. Ask specific questions that require specific answers, like how long will you take to provide an accurate tender price? if I'm happy with the tender price how long do you take to prepare the contract? and then to commence on site? what are your current build times? what are you processes for meeting our supervisor? how many builds do you currently have on site? and how many job do your supervisor generally manage? more than two weeks to tender is too long, more than 4 weeks to contract will mean they are overwhelmed in the office, more than 3 months from paperwork being LODGED with head office means their procedures are not in place, any more than 18 to 20 maximum for the supervisor means there is very limited quality control! If you consultant can answer these type of questions with confidence, it will generally means there is good communication between the sales team & head office, it may still be sales talk but it suggests it is supported by head office.
