Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 15, 2020 4:03 pm We are in Bathurst, under the Bathurst Regional Council and have purchased Donga, on skids fully set up with "plug and play" utilities. We went to our Council to do the right thing and are more confused than ever. We got about 4 different answers from 4 different people ranging from no DA required, DA required for footings and sewerage, total DA for the whole building and another said a $5000 "contribution" would be required. NSW regulations state that granny flats, for household members do not require DAs so long as they complied with certain guidelines, which we do. To say we are confused is an understatement! Does anybody have any solutions to our dilemma. Re: DA for granny flat 2Sep 21, 2020 1:42 pm Call up a local PC - private certifier and speak to them.
