This was not an issue in the past because the house was higher due to being on stumps and adequate fall was achieved. He has mentioned in email that our only option may be to use a pump and well system. I obviously need to have further discussions with the builder but I want to arm myself with as much information and research as possible. Are there any other options available? The pumps sound expensive and I'm also afraid of what might happen when there's a power outage during a big storm?
