Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 23, 2020 4:13 pm Hi everyone, Need some help. I have attached a photo of our mortar after a recent acid wash, I did the acid wash. As you can see, there is something not quite right here and I'm trying to figure out what's happening. It's not over all the brickwork but in sections. Used yellow brickies sand and off-white Boral cement For the acid was, i presoaked everything religiously - especially being dry pressed bricks. Then cleaned using roughly 20:1 solutions, a little strong to max 15:1 is some bits. It was thoroughly wash, and we had 2 days of constant rain after that also. When washed down, I kept the gernie at a reasonable distance. Not getting too close to pit the bricks etc. Any help or thoughts please!!!
