Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 18, 2020 4:29 pm I have a single loose floor tile in my bathroom and am looking at options to repair this. Unfortunately I have no spare tiles so I don’t want to risk trying to lift the tile up and accidentally cracking it. Based on my understanding, there appears to be three options: 1) DIY repair using Fix-a-Floor (or equivalent adhesive) – would involve removing grout, applying adhesive using caulking gun which would then ideally flow into the cavities, and then regrout. Most cost effective. 2) ‘Stickit’ injection system – off the shelf product for fixing loose / drummy tiles. Involves drilling into grout and applying product. Still DIY (seems to be closer to DIY version of Option 3) but probably 3 times more expensive than Option 1. 3) Epoxy injection system – pay for tradesmen to come and inject epoxy adhesive under pressure. Comes with 10 year guarantee, but costs hundreds of dollars. Has anyone had experience regarding this issue and can offer me some advice as to what may be the best approach?
