Hi everyone,
ive been reading a lot on this forum and it has helped me ALOT, i started out with little to no knowledge about everything to do with building, and now i feel so much more confident having learnt alot through experiences that have been posted on here.
my husband and i bought a block of land in Deer Park earlier this yr, we were promised it would be released in August and we are still waiting! should be anytime time now since they've given the greenlight for the soil test to be done, and we are more than ready to take the next step.
My question relates to the soil test. We were told that it would most likely come up as a 'H' but they say that the soil has been classified as a 'P' after the soil test due to the fill on the block. I dont know the details or cost as yet, but hearing this news has made me a bit worried. How much more cost is there on average between a 'P' and a 'H'. And if the soil has been classified as a "P' will it need a 'p' class slab? For those of you who have had a 'P' classification what were your site costs?
