I am currently building a home with PD and have had several minor problems along the way. We are nearing inspection and suddenly the more I look the more I see. I am beggining to feel very uncomfortable with the whole project as this is supposed to be my dream home. The question that I have is whether anyone out there has used an independant inspector and how that went for them? I am also very keen to hear of the response from PD about this independant inspection. Thanks Hally Re: ^Help 2Mar 07, 2007 11:03 am Hi - Dont have too many answers for you. I know they have to provide access for an inspection arranged by you. As far as the responding to issues raised I would presume they would have to fix anything outside the standards and tolerances in the building code but anything else would be down to their goodwill. Most of the standards they must adhere to dont really cover what most would call a high standard though, they a pretty much a minimum. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong!
