They have agreed to pay for the fence on the back of the garage, however they think it is unnecessary for them to share the fence in the front. We are only going for a short fence in the front to secure the perimeter. What should we do if they dont agree to share the cost in the front. It is approx $600 for both of us, so sharing $300 each. There is a mutual benefit to BOTH neighbours so it is a shared fence.
