I've been experiencing issues with horizontal cracking in the facade render, originating from underneath. Initially, I had requested the builder to use texture cladding, but they opted for blue board over the timber beam with polyethylene render. Unfortunately, due to movement, the render continues to crack despite the builder's attempts to address it.
The builder has now agreed to rectify the issue by installing texture cladding over the existing render and has proposed incorporating a corrugated profile beneath the facade. (see detail)
I would prefer to maintain consistency in the finishing material. Any suggestions or thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated
