Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 08, 2023 8:02 pm G’day, This is the beginning of our irrigation system. It is currently 300mm below surface. I need to bring it straight up to the surface but unsure how? What connections/fittings would I use to complete this? Then run 40m of weeper hose in different sections? They take into account the available presure of your water supply and the number of outlets verse the flow and design a system that will work. We are Expert Consultant's, and we are here to help. Re: Irrigation help 4Feb 04, 2023 4:53 pm Looks like a simple connection pipe. I did our system - and I'm no landscape gardening expert. Just went to Bunnings and bought the gear. My advice - draw a plan of what you want - ie where do you want sprinklers, drippers etc. Preferably do it BEFORE doing the lawn/garden. You may well need a split system that operates from a single unit and timer - depending on pressure. BUT - it is not hard to do it yourself. Get the pamphlets from Bunnings and have a read - then work out what you think you'll need. A few tools are great - especially the little hand held gadget that help make holes and joints etc. The bloke from Bunnings will know what I mean - so ask. Unless its a major operation you can do it yourself. Tricks include the tool i mentioned above - and hot water when you join things. Helps soften the plastic and slips on easier. You'll end up with a lot of bibs and bobs but its an experience you'll be proud of..
