Hi, We are currently building, the driveway to the house was grass approximately 30m long. We weren’t planning to put a sealed driveway in till later so not in build contract. The builder tore up the driveway with machinery and with the rain has made it muddy and makes it hard for his trades to access when wet. Who would be responsible if trades are delayed? Am I responsible to fix?

Normally they put aggregate down to provide all weather access, as they should have known the driveway wouldn't handle the traffic, but 30m is a pretty long run.
Nothing in your tender/contract about it being provided?
