We're now researching gates, and the Bunnings one looks pretty good and cheap enough. Question though - we're thinking of putting slats (merbau or similar) on, is there any limitation that you know of in the spacing of the slats ? We're more keen to have little if no gap, and I'm not sure if these gates have pre-drilled holes or not. Re: New fences / merbau panels ... all done :) 25Aug 31, 2010 8:42 pm Hi paul.jason, There will need to be some gap between the slats but it only needs to be minimal (like 2 mm would be enough) The holes are not pre dilled and you may need a few tools to make the gate fit the way you want it to Drill and grinders are handy here! Re: New fences / merbau panels ... all done :) 28Oct 30, 2011 8:29 pm Hi Blackwater, The horizontal steel brace is part of the gate, you do have to pay an extra $50 from bunnings or so to have it but. Then you just drill the screws in one at the top and one at the bottom. cheers Hi all, Our boundary perimeter fences need replacing (3 sides). From everyone's experience, what would you install? Timber lapped and capped OR colorbond? Thank you. 0 3290 Hello - we were hoping to apply laminate click lock panels to our concrete ceiling, but not too sure how to go about attaching the panels to the concrete.
