I was out lookin at my block yesterday and the ppl behind me have got their block scraped. Well since my last post our building contract has been signed sealed and delivered and colours done (thanks to the wife) Plans have been lodged to council for approval, But Plantation tell us it will probably take between 6-8 weeks for it to come out of council! has anyone got any better news? the only biggy in our approval will be the fact that we have a relaxation to the boundary request (Corner block!) but other than that its pretty straight forward so Im wondering why the long time frame for DA? Serge how are things progressing with you I havent been past for a while now? Oh yeah and the bank have finally got their sh*t together and issued all the correct paperwork finally. Only took them 6 weeks! Ours only took 2 weeks, however we didnt have any requests to relax the boundary. Maybe yours will require a site visit? Re: Bellflower Estate - Sippy Downs 74Jun 09, 2009 7:29 pm anyone else out there moving in to the Bellflower estate? or thinking about buying the next stage (Forest Grove)? cmon - lets share the thrill of the build ’’Quondo Omni Flunkus Mortati ’’ If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. Plantation then came back to us and told us we would have to pay the bond! I have refused to pay as the bond is to cover the developer against any damage that the builders employees or subcontractors cause during the construction period and that we cannot be responsible for what they do through that period. So now Plantation have told the developer they will not pay the bond has anyone else experienced this builders bond? Re: Bellflower Estate - Sippy Downs 76Jun 12, 2009 7:47 pm having a look at some of the damage to the grassed areas in stage 3 & 4 by builders I don't blame Investa one bit. they're doing the place up and no sooner do they get something looking nice a DH drives a monstrous truck across everything and gouges big gullys in the fresh laid turf on lots that aren't anywhere near where they are working. of course - I was in before that too. I'd be interested in how Investa are going to identify who screwed what though ’’Quondo Omni Flunkus Mortati ’’ If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy. (Sure I am still shagged from the shift but i figure what i save i get to drink) Redi - Gas, look em up they have a web site but the great bit is the gas is cheaper than elgas and origin and they are locals!!! So off to the land of the boxes for a few days while the rain puts that brakes on outdoors action.
