I am building single storey. How easy to install floodlight after handover? Any difference of floodlight on brick work vs floodlight on pillar?

i found the price for outside lights was fairly reasonable.
I wouldn't have floodlights though.

The reason I ask because I have to be tight so total price is under the FHOG limit. I would pay it if Government allow me to.
I don't have a sparky friend so I have no idea how easy to access the brick or pillar.
