Downlight advice for my kitchen

I'm looking for advice on downlight spacing in my kitchen.

The plan at the moment is to use Brightgreen D700+ downlights (on dimmers) as shown in this layout: http://oi62.tinypic.com/2jf806.jpg

Is this spacing too tight? I can't help but think more downlights is better particularly for a kitchen.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
